Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting patients in the selection of frames and lenses as per their optical, prescription and cosmetic requirements and providing support duties for the Branch.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Assist Customers with selecting frames and lenses as per prescription and cosmetic requirements and meeting individual sales targets
  • Preparation of Charge Bills, Statements and quotations for customers
  • Dispatching and receiving jobs and contact lenses
  • Putting patients on Auto Refractor, Inter ocular Pressure Machine and Visual Field and taking readings
  • Making appointments for:- Eye Examinations, Contact Lens Fitting, contact Lens After Care and Visual Field Analysis
  • Arranging the frames and display areas as per merchandising standards and ensuring that work area and counters is always clean and tidy
  • Ordering, follow up and pricing of contact lenses
  • Ordering stationery and supplies
  • Assist with monitoring of stock levels of sunglasses, frames, contact lens solutions and other products and accessories and reordering when necessary
  • Responsible for Cashiering, Banking and Compiling Reports
  • Other related duties

Qualifications and Experience:

5 CXC or GCE subjects including Mathematics and English.

Two years related experience and/or training.

Job Title: Marketing Assistant - Inventory

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Frame Stock Room Clerk in the processing of in-coming and out-going shipments and provide relief to the Marketing department when necessary.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • To monitor all stock and generates reports for items to be removed, replaced and discontinued and prepare memos on same
  • To remove discontinued frames from the Frame Stock Room and follow up with the Frame Stock Room Clerk to ensure that the frames are transferred to all branches
  • To generate monthly and year to date reports for the Inventory Supervisor:
    • Stock Status and Best Sellers Reports
    • Defective Report (All saleable stock items)
    • Returns for credit (frames/sunglass/contact lens/solutions)
    • All items destroyed
  • To process defective frames/suns that was returned to the Frame Stock Room
    • Checks/verifies stock returned
    • Tags and states defect on packaging
    • Batches by brand and model
  • To return all recalled defective and slow selling: frames, sunglasses, contact lens and solutions to foreign and local suppliers and ensure that credits and or exchanges are received for same
  • To update the Solution Order forms and distribute to the branches accordingly
  • To generate electronic Purchase Orders for confirmed received goods
  • To enter prices into electronic database

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Five (5) GCE O’ Level passes grades A or B or CXC passes Grades I or II, including Mathematics and Principles of Business
  • Certificate in Marketing/Inventory studies
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a marketing environment
  • Proficient in the use of Excel Spreadsheets
